Barton Hills is located east of Mopac between Barton Creek greenbelt on the west and south side, up to Barton Springs Road and Robert E Lee and Rabb Road.

Most of the homes in Barton Hills were built in the lat 1950′s through the mid 1970′s. Most have kept their original charming look, while others have been replaced with newer construction. Many homes in the area back up greenbelts and are within walking distance to some of the best parks in Austin. Zilker Park is close by, as well as is Barton Springs Pool and Auditorium Shores. Zilker Botanical Gardens is a lovely place to stroll through on a beautiful day. Just west of downtown, this popular neighborhood has the true flavor of Austin. Dining, shopping and numerous conveniences are close by.
