Where is Milwood?
Actually there are 2 sections of Milwood. One is an older, established section, located in the corridor between the McNeil area, Parmer Lane, Amherst and Duval. This section is just a couple of minutes to IBM, National Instruments and The Domain. The other newer section is located further north on Parmer Lane at Tamayo to the west.

The older Milwood subdivision was built primarily in the late 70′s by Milburn Homes and sits amongst old stately oak trees. The homes have great personality and an eclectic feel that is very appealing to me. Balcones Park is part of the wonderful neighborhood where there are hike and bike trails, a community pool and basketball courts stituated amongst huge towering oak trees. Every Spring and Summer, a sweet couple brings their snowcone trailer to the park and serves up some of the most refreshing, scrumptious snowcones! You will be hard pressed to find a snowcone anywhere in the area that is better than these! In the newer section, the homes were built around the 1980′s and are beautifully situated on winding streets, sitting in amongst towering old trees and manicured landscaping.
